George Benny McCulloch, age 53, of Windsor/Falmouth, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, after a short battle with cancer. Born on May 26, 1963, in Windsor, Nova Scotia, George was the son of the late Benny and Myrtle (MacDonald) McCulloch. George was a client at New Boundaries in Windsor, he loved country music, woodworking, hunting and spending time at the camp. George is survived by sister, Janet (Claude) Davidson, Falmouth; Cindy (Allan) Rogers, Mount Denson; Sherry McCulloch, Windsor; nieces and nephews, Randell (Tara) Davidson, Jason (Susan) Davidson, Jennifer (Nick Greenough) Davidson, Lucinda (Greg) Riley, Holly (Jay) Manders, Chris Sears, Nick (Lisa) Spinney, Jacklyn (Ryan) Blades; great nieces and nephews, Benjamin Davidson, Donald Davidson, Barack Davidson, Abbey Davidson, Jaxon Greenough, Tripp Greenough, Jett Greenough, Dylan Riley, Dawson Riley, Blake Manders, Halle Sears, Haydan Sears, Alexie Spinney, and Elexie Blades; several aunts and uncles; his family at New Boundaries. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Elsie and Ormal McCulloch; maternal grandparents, Fred and Bessie MacDonald; parents, Benny and Myrtle McCulloch; sister, Kathy Spinney. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home 902-798-2232, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Marilyn Sweet officiating, followed by a reception, then interment at the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth.
