Cormack
It is with great sadness, but with thankfulness for a full life, that the family of Susan Doris Sheppard of Cormack, NL announce her passing on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88. She leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, her children: Jack (Sheila), Bob (Charlotte), Doug (Peggy), Patsy Baker (Steve), Dave (Darlene), Bill (Sandra), Don and Ann-Marie. Doris was predeceased by her husband Cyril, son Peter, and parents Walter Gosling and Alice Pond. Doris also leaves to mourn her siblings: Austin Gosling (Margaret), Sheila Edison, Walter Gosling, Marguerite Chafe (Lons), and sister-in-law LaRaine Gosling. She was predeceased by brother Lawrence (LaRaine), Fraser (Effie), Frederick and Robert, as well as brother-in-law Elmer Edison (Sheila), and sister-in-law Freda Gosling (Walter). Doris will be fondly remembered by 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation will take place at St. George's Anglican Church in Cormack on Thursday from 7-9 PM, Friday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 11 AM, officiated by Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman. Interment will be at the church cemetery following the service.
