He was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion, Telephone Pioneers, and the Soapbox Association. Bob enjoyed curling, hunting, downhill skiing, sailing, boating, fishing, golfing, and his big passion was genealogy at which he spent many hours doing research. Bob enjoyed family gatherings. He loved to teach his children to fish, water ski, knee board as well as many other activities. This love spilled over to his nieces and nephews. His favorite saying to them was " Do you know how?" and if the answer was yes "Are you sure?" and if not "No Uncle Bob but I'd sure like to learn." After his retirement, he worked for Larry Hill and often chuckled about the radio conversations that went on over the tractor radios. It was a sad day when Bob could no longer be part of this. He will be forever loved and missed.
