The passing of Lauretta Acorn occurred peacefully at the Clinton View Lodge, Kensington, PE on September 10, 2016, while surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born on April 11, 1928, in Mount Vernon, PE, she was the daughter of the late Arlington and Margaret (Nee: MacLean) Acorn. Lauretta is survived by sister Lenora Hemphill as well, a circle of extended family and friends. Beside her parents she was predeceased by brother John-Dan, sister Hazel Acorn and brother-in-law Kenneth Hemphill. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. in Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel.
