TUPPER, Eddy - age 83 of Stewiacke. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful father, Eddy Tupper. We will miss him dearly. His sense of humor, his smile and his presence. Dad farmed all his life in Stewiacke on the family farm, taking over from his parents Page and Jean Tupper. In the early years, a person had to do whatever was needed to do to keep the farm running, and Dad was no exception. From running a grader building the Gays River Road, raising chickens, working in the woods, to milking cows. He was building a life for his wife Lillian and their children. He will be missed by son Charles (Liz), Toronto, daughters, Donna Rondeau, Coronation, AB and Heather (Burton) Killen, Stewiacke; grandchildren, Catherine, Patrick, Dylan, Reffa, Holly, Sarah, Carson; great grandchildren, Audrey, Darla, Finley and Norah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian (Glennie); sisters, Ellen MacInnis, Margie O’Neil and Dorothy Skudder. By Dad’s request of keeping things simple, we will be having a graveside service only in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East at 1pm Wednesday, September 14, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the furnace fund for the Stewiacke United Church, PO Box 159, Stewiacke, NS B0N 2JO.
