Annie passed away in the early morning hours at the Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her loving family: her children Rose (Leon Chenier), Archie and Irene; her grandchildren Dean (Vickie) Chenier, Lori (Ron) Locke, Nicole (Glen) Van Mol, Brandy (Barrett Zelinski), Larry, Sam Kozenko, Steven Davidson, Darlene Davidson, Harley Davidson (Lasha), Chelsea Kozenko and Kami Kozenko; her great-grandchildren Jordan, Alyssa, Owen, Emilie, Ethan, Briann, Logan, Bradley, Bret, Brennan, Brandon, Kelsey, Donavin, Darla, Bridgit Mikael, Kiara, Aneashia, Casandra, Harley, Connor; her great-great-grandchild Nova as well as many nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by: her parents; her husband Steve; her siblings Mary, Sally Karpluk and Sam, Pete and Elizabeth Chomyk, Tillie and Paul Ponomarenko; her daughter Mary; her son Peter as well as nieces and nephews. Annie was born on August 7, 1924 to Yernia Wojciechowski and Yakym Chomyk on their farm in the Strong Pine District and attended the Mons School. She married Steve Kozenko in 1941 and worked on the farm most of her life and raising her children. She loved sewing, crocheting knitting, baking and cooking and as time went by she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
