Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Health Sciences Centre. Charlie Patey aged 56 years. Predeceased by his father: Charles Patey; two infant siblings and special uncle: William Patey. Leaving to mourn his mother: Bessie Patey (Joe Gulliver); sister: Valerie Patey (Greg) and nieces and nephews: Melissa (Jacob), Daniel (Christine), Stephen, Aleah, Jesse, as well as extended family and friends. Special thank you to the staff at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday from 2:00 pm. - 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in Barrett?s Chapel on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date.
