Isabelle Ann Dooley, age 91, of Westville, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with family by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, April 30, 1925, she was a daughter of the Albert and Freda (Hatfield) Cadwell.
Mrs. Dooley was a resident of Glen Haven Manor for the past 4 years, and was a devoted member of the Westville Salvation Army Corps. Her love of cooking and baking, her wit, willingness to help others, music and dance, were all part of her life.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra Greke (Norm), Camrose, Alta.; Lorna Wood (Ron), Westville, sons, John A. (Anna), Ottawa; James M. (Sharon), Toronto; Kendall, Stellarton; Gary, Westville; Tom (Sheila), Westville; daughter in law Joan, Westville; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Elizabeth Baillie, Westville; Helen Hayes (Jim), Stellarton; and Viola Price (Joe), Stellarton.
She was predeceased by her husband John James “Jim”; daughter in law Margaret; sisters, Hazel MacEachern and Sadie Molyneaux and brother Melvin “Bud” Cadwell .
Her family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Thursday from the Westville Salvation Army Church with Lt. Shawna Goulding officiating. Interment will be in Auburn Cemetery. Family flowers only.
