ROBERTS, Shirley Ann - age 72, of Port Maitland, N.S. passed away on September 15th, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Port Maitland on January 16th, 1944 she was the daughter of Jessie (Smith) Outhouse and the late Guy Outhouse. Shirley was employed with Foodland for 10 years, Foodmaster for 9 Years and Save Easy for 2 years. Shirley was a member of the Port Maitland Baptist Church and loved to go camping and listen to Bluegrass music in her spare time. She is survived by her mother; Jessie Outhouse, Port Maitland; sons Kenneth Todd (Trina), Truro and Dwayne (Kelly), Port Maitland; brother Lewellyn (Beverly), Port Maitland; sister Faye (Arnold) Wyman, Deerfield; grandchildren Courteney Roberts, Jessica Hazelton, Jennifer Roberts, Emily Roberts, Cole Roberts and great grandchild Emmet Hazelton. Besides her father she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, son Sheldon and sister Gloria (Denton). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. At Shirley’s request there was no service or visiting hours. Donations in memory may be made to the Port Maitland Cemetery or Charity of Choice.
