Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Mildred Joan Hearn (nee Whiteway) age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Cyril; daughters: Barbara and Patricia; son David; grandson James Young; parents: George and Mildred Whiteway; brothers: Arch, George and Bill; sisters: Emma and Beth. Leaving to mourn are her daughters: Mildred (Larry Hardy), Veronica (Colin Butler), Mary (Angus Maher), Frances (Art McNeil), Hilda (Gene Ellsworth); sons: Cyril (Agnes), Edward (Cathy), Michael (Lisa), Robert (Sharon); grandchildren: Jason, Tony, Colleen, Melanie, Kevin, Dawn, Shane, Barbara, Megan, Krista, Amanda, David, Megan, Joshua, Shelby, Lisa, Curtis, Ryan, Rachel and Riley; brothers: John (Barbara), Albert (Mary) and Herb (Laura); sisters: Joyce (Wal), Lorraine (Austin) and Ruby (Dave); numerous great grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
