It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of David Arthur Walsh, on September 21, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 92. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Ula; 11 children: Rosalie Power (Ray), Nancy Fleming (Walter), Larry Walsh, Kerry Walsh (Joy), Darlene Locke (Jim), Juanita Endicott (Andy), Kenneth Walsh (Paula), Lisa Walsh (Rick), Amanda Hackett (Shawn), Elaine Donahue (Robert), Tina Walsh; grandchildren: Raymond & Jason Power, Andrew, Scott & Krista Fleming, Jeff, Christopher & Zabrina Walsh, Tanya Layden, Jennifer Locke, Samantha Hillier, Jessica and Tanya Endicott, Matthew and Jay Walsh, Tiffany Ryan, Kayla Hynes, Shauna Hackett, Kaitlyn Donahue, Brittany & Jennelle Park; 18 great grandchildren; sister Margie Martin, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends and his furry friend Muffy. He was predeceased by grandchildren David Walsh and Rebecca Park; brothers: Kenneth and Gus Walsh; sisters: Madge Butt, Jean White, Mary Quilty, parents Timothy and Helen Walsh and 1 great grandchild Courtney. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 24th at 2:00 pm from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street with followed Don Leonard officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
