It is with broken hearts, but with many wonderful memories that we announce Jim's sudden passing at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, as the result of a massive heart attack. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Sadie and his sister, Patricia "Pat" Dowden. Left with cherished memories of his life; his partner and loving wife, Carolyn (nee Mondella); his two precious children, Stephen and Kristen, both residing in Alberta and his buddy Gus-Gus. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister, Margaret (Brendan Rumsey); his brothers Danny (Rita) of Quispamsis, NB, Joe (Mary) and John; his mother-in-law Mary Ramsay; his sisters-in-law Ann Mondella, Alexis (Billy Terkalas) and Teresa (Frank Chopin) along with his brother-in-law, Ches Dowden and his many nieces and nephews. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Caul's Funeral Home. Cremation has already taken place, at Jim's request, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Mass will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 am from St. Peter's Parish Church, 110 Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl. Thank you to the special friends who journeyed with Jim for all those years.
