Robert NEAL Elliott passed peacefully into the presence of his loving Saviour on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the age of 46 years. He was surrounded by the love of his life, wife Marilyn Elliott, as well as his mother Diane Crane and her husband John, and his aunt Marilyn Issavian. Neal is also survived by his three step children Andrew, Jennifer and Hilary Knee and by his mother-in-law, Bernice Whalen. He was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014. The family sends a special thank you to Dr. Judith Roger whose strong resolve and expert surgical hands made it possible for Neal to have these last two years. The love and care from the large circle of friends, and the prayers of people worldwide all sustained Neal and Marilyn over this two-year period. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Corner Brook Baptist Church, O'Connell Drive. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
