Passed peacefully away after a short illness on September 23, 2016 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, age 82. Predeceased by his wife Blanche, sister Alice and brother Robert. Left with fond and loving memories daughter Gail French, sons Derrick (Marie), Dwight (Colleen), Keith (Elaine), grandchildren Nicole, Alison, Nathan, Chloe, Jacqueline (Trevor), Gary (Brittany), special friend Georgina, brother Jack, sisters Emily Smith and Betty Samson (Tony) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday, September 24 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday, September 25 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Temple on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
