The family of Onslow Frederick Damery age 82 of Amherst are saddened to announce his passing on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy (Tower) Damery.
Onslow will be sadly missed by his wife Jean (Gallant); sons Onslow Jr. and Lee Douglas (Phyllis); stepson Arthur Gothreau and brother Bill (Donna) and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Rod Damery and Bev Mason.
Family has requested no flowers.
Following Onslow's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held in the Amherst Cemetery. Family and friends were invited to a reception held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Immanuel United Church on Hickman St.
