Christopher Mark Parsons age 37 of Swift Current, SK and Medicine Hat, AB passed away on September 13, 2016 in Calgary, AB. The Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from The Church Of The Open Bible with Pastor Rob Cochrane officiating. The pianist was Barb Klassen, and the eulogy was read by Robert Thompson. The ushers were Robert Klassen and Stan Klassen, the urn bearer was Willis Nordwick and honorary pallbearers were anyone who was touched by Chris. Chris is survived by his mother Susan (David White); his father Daniel in Toronto, ON; his children Caleb (and his mom Virginia) and Dominic (and his mom Alicia); a very special niece Mikayla Parsons; brother Shawn (Jody) Parsons; sisters Leilani (Terry) and their daughter Kelli Rene Harrison, Karen and her children Seth and Jasmine; his step grandparents Jim and Margurite White; his adopted dad Robert Thompson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Cyril and Minola Hamer; his paternal grandparents Daniel and Pearl Parsons; and his step father Calvin Fisher. Chris was born on April 28, 1979 and he attended school in Swift Current, Leader, SK and Saskatoon, SK. Chris had various types of jobs in Saskatoon, Regina, Swift Current, and Medicine Hat. He loved fishing, working on engines and bicycles, spending time with his sons and he really loved the Rough Riders. He loved talking to people, which made him a great sales person. He could talk to anyone about anything. He especially loved his family and they always came first no matter what.
