On this day it gives me great sadness to announce to the physical world, that my time has come to continue my journey to the spiritual world to be with my family and friends who have gone before me to be with my parents, James E. and Margaret (MacDonald) Fitzgerald; a brother and a son, Bernard that passed away in infancy. I leave behind my best friend and partner in life, my husband, Bernie; my greatest joys, daughter, Janine (Chris) Bonnar; son, Cpl. Shane Fitzgerald CAF, my (hero); grandson, Brayden Bonnar and my beautiful granddaughter, Sierra Bonnar. I also leave behind my brothers, Sanford (Louise) Fitzgerald, Wayne (Lida) Fitzgerald and sister, Norma (Gary) Ball, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends along the way. My family and I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the CBRH Cancer Center and Palliative Care Units for the wonderful care and support at this time. ‘There is a time we leave this world behind to soar like a dragonfly leaving human pain behind. So when you see one just believe!!’ There will be a visitation, Friday, September 30,2016 at 1 p.m. with prayers at 2p.m. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of….
