ADA BILLARD
June 14, 1941- September 21, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ada Billard (nee Power) announces her passing on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls Windsor, at the age of 75 years. Born in English Harbour West, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (nee Bishop) Power. Ada leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, John Billard, her two sons, Austin (Susan) Billard and Andy (Tanya) Billard, grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Jonathon and Matthew Billard, brother, Howard Power, sisters, Lillian (Ray) Taggert, Effie (Fred) Cannaerts, sister-in-law Audrey Power, a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Ada was predeceased by brothers, Russell and William Power. Visitation took place at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle-aux-Morts on Friday, September 23 from 2 - 4p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 24, 1 – 6 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 25 at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev Maryrose Colbourne. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ada’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice
