Terry Lee (Boran) Adams
It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Terry Lee (Boran) Adams at her home on Irish Mountain, Pictou County, NS on October 3, 2016.
Born in Springhill, NS on May 17, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Stonehouse) Boran, she moved with her family to Montreal for over 10 years before returning as a teenager to Springhill where she met and married the love of her life, John Adams, and they moved to Pictou County to build their lives together in 1975. Terry and John shared many wonderful years together, including 28 years that they shared with her mother Marg when they opened their hearts and home to her following the death of Terry’s father Charlie.
For the past 19 years she has split her time between her home on Irish Mountain and her second home as an active and welcoming member of the seasonal campers at Seafoam Campground, Seafoam, NS.
Always one to get involved, she shared of her time and talents with many different organizations throughout her lifetime where she touched the lives of so many including as a member of the MacDonald Rebecca Lodge #108, Sunny Brae, and a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aid, Sunny Brae.
Left behind to share memories of her as they mourn her loss is her husband John; her son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Jenna Adams, along with the light of her life, her granddaughter Hannah, Petawawa, ON; her sister and brother-in-law Vivian and Marcel Raby, Kingston, ON and brother and sister-in-law David and Janice Boran, Millbrook, Pictou County, NS and a large network of extended family and friends.
She has gone to join her family that have gone before her which include her mother and father, daughters Paula and Nicole and sister Charlene Smith.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home and also invite those who can to join us as we celebrate her life on Saturday, October 8 at 2 pm at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, East River Road, New Glasgow, with Rev. Gail Johnson-Murdock officiating. Reception to follow. Interment will be at a later date when she will be taken to be with her daughters in the Springhill Jct. Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in memory of Terry Lee may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the SpringHill Junction Cemetery.
