Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre after a long and courageous battle with cancer in the presence of his loving family and friends, Kevin Mills of Port Colbourne, Ontario and Freshwater, Placentia. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Marie Mills and infant brother Peter. Leaving to mourn his daughter Jessica O'Rielly and granddaughter Amy; brother Fred (Frances); sisters Lillian Jackson (Freddie) of Pallatine, Illinois, Carmel of Freshwater and Debbie Shoffner (Jim) of Virginia Beach, VA; nephews Darrin (Cheri Lee), Freddie, James and J.D; nieces Sandra, Yolanda, Calee, Katie, Lela and Anika; special friends Andrea Browne, Jeff Barron, Ernie Kelly and Eddie and Donna Griffin; and a large circle of friends both in Ontario and in Newfoundland. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Friday, October 7 from 12-9 pm and on Saturday, October 8 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am. Funeral Mass to take place 11 am on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater. Inurnment will follow in the family plot at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
