As we rejoice in the reunion of our parents, we are saddened by the passing of our dad, Don in his 84th year of Harbour Main. He passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Angeline, August 7, 2015, parents Mary, Jerry and Catherine Dalton, mother and father-in-law: Ann and Frank Kennedy, sister and brothers: Frances (Mike), Bill, Vince, Dick and George (Rita) Dalton, sisters and brothers-in-law: Eileen (Dick) Finn, Madeline Kennedy and Ike Slade. Left with fond and loving memories are his children Gerald, Debbie, Donnie (Janice), Sandra (Gary Corbett), Diana (Melvin Woodford), and Linda (Dennis Mercer), grandchildren Jerry Dalton, Calista Corbett, Cameron Woodford, Angeline and Garry Dalton, Franky Dalton, and Kaylee Mercer, one great-grandchild Jacob Dalton, sister Jen Slade, Salmon Cove, brothers-in-law: Pat (Joan) Kennedy, Brooklyn, NY, John Kennedy, Harbour Main, sisters-in-law:Ida, Alice, and Doris Dalton, his canine buddy Susie, many nieces, nephews, life long friend Ned Wall, home care worker Teresita Gosse, and many family and friends especially the Dalton and Butler families. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood on Sunday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-9 pm. Funeral will take place at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 with Mass of Christian Burial from SS. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main. Interment to follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to SS.
