Robert “Bob” Alvin Guild
1933-2016
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that I announce the passing of Robert Guild on Wednesday September 28, 2016. Bob was born Febuary 13, 1933 and was raised in Moose Jaw. Bob worked for Great West Auto. Bob is predeceased by his parents Roy and Ruby; wife Sharlene of 54 years in 2011 and his daughter Debbie in 1976. Bob leaves to mourn his son Kendal and all those who knew him. Bob and Sharlene enjoyed many years of camping and square dancing, volunteer work with the Canadian Mental Health Association, a member of the Cosmo Centre and Trinity United Church. Bob enjoyed playing guitar, going for coffee with his special friend, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and was a season ticket holder for many years with the Moose Jaw Warriors; he was looking forward to this year’s team. The family would like to thank Moose Jaw EMS. A Funeral Service will take place at Trinity United Church, 277 Iroquois St W, Moose Jaw, Friday, October 14th at 1:30pm. Interment to take place at Sunset Cemetery following the service. Pastor Tim Ellis will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7. In living memory of Bob, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
