Douglas Paul Zachariah – 48, Whitecourt, Alberta, formally of Brentwood, Colchester County, passed away August 15, 2016 in Whitecourt, Alberta
Doug had a great sense of humour and enjoyed teasing and joking around. He loved fishing especially with his friend, Don, going hunting as well as working in the woods. In his earlier years, Doug worked for Buddy Stevens then later with Gerald Peterson and was most recently employed with Brendale Contracting in Alberta.
Doug is survived by two sons, Ryan and Justin; sisters, Bonita, Judy, Tammy (Robin), Upper Stewiacke; several nieces and nephews, including Kyle, Colton and Keely.
He was predeceased by his father, Douglas Sr.; mother, Dorothy Gagnier; step father, Joe Gagnier.
All are welcome to join us in celebrating Doug’s life on Sunday, October 16, 2016 between the hours of 2-4pm in the Upper Stewiacke Fire Hall, Hwy. 289, Upper Stewiacke. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Charity of Choice.
