Wallace Dempster, 73, of Nameless Cove passed away at Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony on October 5th, 2016. Wallace had made the Ivy Durley Place his home for the past few months, where he soon made friends with the residents and staff. He was looking forward to spending the winter there with them. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Shawn (Connie), Shona (Amos), and his three grandchildren Kyle, Kendall, and Laci. He is predeceased by his wife Ellen, parents Maude and Richard, two brothers Baxter and Dudley, and two sisters Irene and Margaret. Visitation was held at the Gospel Hall in Nameless Cove from where the funeral took place on Saturday, October 8 with Eddie Barney and Edward Dredge officiating with interment following.
