It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Wight announce his passing on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Betty; children: Brenda (Randy), Brian (Rose), Claudette (Wayne), Pamela (Rick), Shawn (Daniella), Nola (Dave) and Randy (Cate); 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Harvey and Marigold Wight. Claude enjoyed hunting, fishing, and living his way. Family and friends were a very important part of his life. He will be forever missed by all who loved him. Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel in Pasadena on Thursday, October 13th at 7-9 PM from where Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 14th at 2 PM with Captains Tim and Laura Jenkins officiating. Interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road Mt.
