Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit on October 14, 2016. Predeceased by his daughter Sandra Lynn Dimitroff, brothers Norman, Cyril, Cliff and sister Olive. Left to mourn his wife of 42 years, Therese (nee Young) Sansome, son Peter James Sansome, step-daughter Carmen C. Turner, step-son Ernest D. Turner,granddaughter Louise Stoodley, sister Shirley King and brother-in-law Clyde King and sister-in-law Frances Sansome and many relatives, friend and acquaintances. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home Kelligrews on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Don wish was to be buried with his parents, daughter Sandra and brothers in the Mount Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook. A private memorial service will be held at a later date before snow falls. Donations can be made in Donald's memory to the Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
