The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family on Saturday October 15, 2016 at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, PE of Raymond J. Doucette, formerly of Pleasant View in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Woods) Doucette. Born on January 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Johnny and Melanie (nee Perry) Doucette. Loving father of Kathy (Beau) Miller of Brantford, Ontario and devoted pepe to Justin and Connor. Dear brother to Elaine Graham, Summerside, Mildred Allain, Summerside, Marie Gallant, Hamilton, Ontario, Phyllis Freeburn, Bracebride, Ontario, Edward Doucette, Summerside, Jean Yorke (Blaine), Woodvale, Johnny Doucette (Darlene), Pleasant View and Karen (Roy) Handrahan, Pleasant View. Raymond is also loving remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Gerald and brothers-in-laws Gerard Allain and Ron Freeburn. Raymond will be fondly remembered for crafting and donating many little wooden toys to Kids West and mant local benefits. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road until Monday, October 17, 2016 for funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 4 p.m. No visitation by personal request.
