It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our sister, aunt, cousin & friend, Dorothy Anne Lewis.
Dorothy was born in Murray Harbour, PEI on January 21, 1946, a daughter of the late Parker and Laura (White) Lewis.
She was very proud of her PEI birthright. Dorothy lived in Ontario, but moved back to Pictou County, working at Lyons Brook Mini-Mart. She enjoyed listening to music at the waterfront, talking to the tourists, and playing crib. She would never miss a golf game on TV and faithfully watched Coronation Street.
She is survived by her sister, Diane (William Hayman) and brother, Fred Lewis (Jo-Anne), both of Lyons Brook; also nieces, great nieces, cousins, and special nephew, Ray Hayman (Donna Fitzgerald), West Branch.
She was predeceased by half-brothers, Austin & Heston White.
To honour Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
