Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home on Sunday October 16, 2016, Caroline Julia Barnes, aged 83 years, formerly of Stones Cove, Fortune Bay. Predeceased by her husband Ambrose, Feb 2005, and parents Edwards and Elsie May Bond. Leaving to mourn brothers in law Harrison (Audrey), Marystown, and Melvin (Edith) Harbour Mille, and their families; cousins Julia Baker (Halifax), The Hickman family: Sheila (Lloyd), Judy (Gerry), Bill (Sheila) and Jack (Joanne) and their families; special friends of the Walters, Bond and Pope families; and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday October 18 from 11-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday October 19 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Kenmount Road.
