Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Louise Moores; parents Bertha & Richard Moores; step father William Norman; daughter Beverley; brother Vincent Norman (Louise); sister Winnie Lewis (Charles); son-in-law Thomas Williams; and brother-in-law Bob Morris. Leaving to mourn his children: Donna Williams of Mt. Pearl; Craig Moores (Debbie) of Mt. Pearl; Todd Moores (Valerie) of Nova Scotia; six grandchildren: Bonnie, Sheri, Tonia (Lonnie), Chad (Katheryn), Jerrett, and Shyla; six great-grandchildren: Ethan, Evan, Dominick, Izabel, Jaxon, and Annika; brother Reg Moores (Rona) of Ontario; sister Ann Morris of Ontario; god-children: Christine and Jackie Howse; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday, October 17th, from 7:00 p.m- 9:00 p.m.; and on Tuesday, October 18th, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
