WILLA MURIEL WRIGHT (née FLEMING)
On Saturday, October 8th, 2016 our daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Willa Wright, passed away at Guardian Grove in Providence Place, Moose Jaw, SK with her daughter-in-law, Millie and Cheryl Thul, Spiritual Care Giver at her side. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Walter Engel will officiate and Eastern Star funeral rites will be conducted by the Moose Jaw Mizpah Chapter No. 1 Order of Eastern Star. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Willa was born November 1st, 1924 on the Bridge Farm, south of Stelcam, SK, the 6th of 7 children of William Jr. and Muriel Fleming. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Howard, Bruce, Melville and Richard (Dick); sister, Lottie; several in-laws; an infant daughter, Heather; and granddaughter Corrie. Willa is survived by her sons: Bill (Millie) and their children Glenon and Jerilee of Saskatoon, SK, Duncan (Doris) of Nanaimo, BC, and Brent (Linda) of Dauphin, MB and their son Kevin (Chelsey) of Devon, AB; sister, Jean Dilworth (Lou) of Lakes Area, Florida; sisters-in-law, Faye Burton of Trenton, ON and Shirley Wright of Regina, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend our deepest appreciation to Dorothy Biskey and Dianne Sandborn for their weekly visits of friendship. A special thank you to the staff of the Guardian Grove wing of Providence Place for the excellent care and attention they gave Willa throughout her stay. Flowers are gratefully declined.
