Marjorie Lawrence

Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, NL, on Sunday, Oct. 16th, 2015, MARJORIE LAWRENCE, of Bay L’argent, NL, in her 96th year. Leaving to mourn her loving daughter in Law, Joyce Lawrence, Bay L’argent, 4 grandchildren Wayne (Christy), Salmon Cove, Tracy Hynes (Kevin), Jacques Fountaine, Edie Drake, Halifax, and Harold Curtis (Susan), Grand Falls; 5 great – grandchildren, Benjamin Lawrence, Keegan Hynes, Shelby Drake, Andrew Curtis and Jennifer Curtis; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Marjorie is predeceased by her husband’s Stanley Lawrence and Albert Drake, sons Steve Lawrence, and Harold Drake, step daughter Ettie Grandy, step son Tom Lawrence, brothers Levi, Stephen, Max and Garfield Drake, and sisters Winnie Vatcher and Isabel Mansfield.
Rev. Jim Beaton conducted the Funeral Service at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, Bay L’argent at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. As per Marjorie’s wishes, cremation followed and inurnment will be at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Bay L’argent at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations, in Marjorie’s memory, may be made to St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, Bay L’argent.
Pall bearers were Wayne Lawrence, Kevin Hynes, Tom Barnes, Norman Pope, Andrew Curtis and Harold Curtis.
