Juanita Nicholson

Juanita Nicholson passed away peacefully on October 14, 2016 at the Regina General Hospital with family by her side. Juanita, at the age of 71, beloved wife of Lawrence for over 51 years, cherished mother of Jimmy. She will be missed by her brother Darryl Woolman (Janet) and sisters Darlene Wallace (Bob, deceased) and Lana Woolman. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and friends. Juanita was born on December 17, 1944 to Nathaniel and Mina Woolman in Moose Jaw. She grew up attending William Grayson public school and then later on Peacock. She met Lawrence Nicholson at a dance at Patterson Motors and they were wed a year later in 1964. They settled in Moose Jaw and began their family. As a young family, they enjoyed many vacations in Northern Saskatchewan and Fort St. John, BC. She enjoyed reading and writing letters; keeping in contact with her many friends and family. She enjoyed cooking, and took pride in her home. A Visitation will be held from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Parkview Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Parkview Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 26-1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9, or The Kidney Foundation of Canada, 1-2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 6A8 would be appreciated.
