The peaceful passing of Albert “Bob” Hobbs, age 91, formerly of Georgetown, devoted husband of the late Irene (Nee: Stewart), occurred at the Park West Lodge on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Born on April 18, 1925 he was the son of William and Maude Hobbs. Bob leaves with fond and loving memories daughter Debbie (Frank) Clark, Son Bob (Elizabeth); grandchildren Tyler, Lauren, Erin (Arthur), Maria (Johnny), Deanne (Mark), 4 great grandchildren along with a circle of extended family and those who had the opportunity to call him friend. Along with his late wife and parents Bob was predeceased by son Donald “Gary”, and brothers Arnold and William “Bill”. Bob was a Canadian Veteran to which we say thanks for serving our home and native land. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, October 26 at 11 a.m. with Interment to follow in Georgetown United Church Cemetery.
