Joyce Eileen Miller Reid
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 of Joyce Eileen Miller Reid. Joyce was the mother of Ron MacKay (Kathy Stuart), Meadowbank, Alexander (Sandy) MacKay (Darlene Vokey-MacKay), Hope River, Joscelynne Bordeaux, Charlottetown, and Jill Weatherhead (Norman), Calgary. Joyce was predeceased by her husbands, Rev. John F. MacKay, C.D. B.D, Major with Royal Canadian Chaplain Service RCAF, Rev. Canon Albert Piercey and Jim Reid. Visitation and funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Interment will follow at South Granville, Cemetery.
