Peacefully, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, with her loving family by her side, of Shirley Mary Feehan, of Tignish, age 76 years. Born at Tignish on April 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Elsie Mary (nee Christopher) Ellsworth. Loving mother to Joan (Gordon) Delziel of South Rustico; Bernie (Rhonda) of Mount Stewart; and Patricia (John) Gauthier of Charlottetown. Cherished grandmother to Brandy (Gerald) Benson of South Rustico; Thomas (Laura) Delziel of Halifax; Michael Dalziel of Charlottetown; and Travis Feehan of Charlottetown. Great-grandmother to Lily, Hailey and Henry. Dear sister to Joyce LeClair (Joseph Doucette) of Nail Pond; Barbara (Joseph) Gaudet of Tignish; Joan MacDougall of Stratford; Eileen Ryan of Charlottetown; Betty (Allen) Bouchard of Annondale; and Linda (Patrick) Gavin of Tignish. She was predeceased by brothers, Roy, Ivan and Kenny, and by a brother-in-law, Gerald LeClair. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Saturday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
