Khristopher William, a.k.a. John Murphy Myers
The death occurred peacefully, with family at his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, of Khristopher Myers, of the Prince Edward Home and formerly of Millvale, aged 59. He was the caring father of Matthew Murphy (Lindsay Pitre) and Robyn Murphy (Evan Thompson); and special grandfather to Karson Smith. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Elaine Gaudet (George), Phyllis Duffy (Mike), Pauline Sutow (Elliott), Lea Murphy (Gwendy) and Clair Murphy (Mary Ellen); his children’s mother, Brenda MacNeil; his brother-in-law, Leo Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Oswald and Mary (Doyle) Murphy; brother, Bernard; sister, Sheila Kelly; and nephew, Shawn Gaudet. Resting at Central Queens Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
