Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's on Monday, October 31, 2016 Michael F. Veitch of Holyrood in his 65th year. Predeceased by his wife Kathy Dunphy Veitch, son Kevin, parents: Gregory and Josephine Veitch, sister Anita, sister-in-law Barb and father-in-law Weldon Dunphy. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons: Gregory (Lindsey, granddaughters Brooklyn and Shelby), Michael (Denise), granddaughter Kendra (mom Kristie Tyson), aunt Ellie Veitch (Fred, deceased), sister Marie (Ronnie) Mazure, brothers: Bill (Barb, deceased), Jerry, John (Trudy), Greg (Joan), Pat (Rose Marie), brother-in-law John Ryan (Anita Veitch, deceased), and in New York mother-in-law Margaret Dunphy, sisters-in-law: Debbie (John) Hart, Karen (Steve) Malo and brother-in-law Michael (Carolyn) Dunphy, nephews, nieces, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends in Newfoundland, mainland Canada, USA and Taiwan, and his canine companion Ziggy. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
