MacPHERSON, Marlene Elsie – 75, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully, with her daughter at her side, on Monday morning, October 31, 2016, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Helen (George) McNutt. Marlene and Donald loved to take daily drives and explore every country road that they could. She was a familiar face at Truro Bearcats hockey games at Colchester Legion Stadium and in earlier years, she enjoyed bowling. Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald Stewart MacPherson; children, Dale MacPherson, Saint John, New Brunswick; Darren (Kim) MacPherson, Port Hawkesbury; Heather Sears (Kirk MacKeigan), Pictou; Blake (Lisa) MacPherson, Hammonds Plains; grandchildren, Tommy, Willie, Brandon, Vanessa, Katherine, Zoey, Ethan, Finlay; sisters-in-law, Diane McNutt, Beryl McNutt, Truro; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Donnie McNutt, Reg McNutt. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Palliative Care Unit (CEHHC) for your exceptional care.
