At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 of Walter Preston McLaine, Springvale, age 62 years. Survived by partner Lorraine Toole and her daughter Emily MacDonald. Remembered by his son Ben McLaine, daughter Tara Costanza (Tyler), their mother Debbie McLaine, son Kenny Van Ewyk (Lauren) and step-daughter Jamie Harding. Grandfather of Josiah, Emily and Micha Van Ewyk. Brother of Ronnie, Carol Connick (Keith MacKinnon), George (Gail), Rosemary MacBeth (Marvin), Eric (Donna), Heather Jay, Susan Rayner (Jim), Roger (Michelle), William (Carol-Ann), Nancy Jay, Myrtle MacPhee (Alan). Brother-in-law of Elayne McLaine. Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Jock and Helen (Wigmore) McLaine and siblings David, Lawrence and Laura McLaine.
