Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre after a short illness, Helena (Lena) Dawe of Long Pond, CBS, age 64 yrs. Predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Dawe (October 31, 2006), father James Power (1987) and father and mother-in-law Harvey Dawe (1984) and Alice M. Dawe (2007). Leaving to mourn with fond memories, son Joseph Dawe Jr. (Jackie) and daughter Alice Taylor (Darrell), six grandkids Rebecca, Mitchell, Kyle, Shawn, Hunter and Andrew, her mom Theresa Power, sisters Mae McEvoy (Philip), Cathy Ann Ryan (Mario), brothers Henry Power (Donna), Brian Power (Judy), brothers-in-law Gerald Dawe (Yvonne), William Dawe (Gladys), Walter Dawe (Cynthia), many nieces, nephews and close friends Pat Bursey, Bronson and Norma Porter. Also all her Worsley Park 50+ club and All Saints ACW friends. Visitation at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews, Saturday, November 5, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Sunday, November 6, from 10-12 noon, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
