Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2016, Sonja A. Hosel of Carbonear, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents: Iver and Gertrude Iversen; brother-in-law: Franz Reiss. Left to mourn, husband: Siegfried; one son: Jens (Elva), St. John’s; two grandchildren: Katarina and Jared; two sisters: Gertrude 'Petra' Reiss and Lorraine (Roy) Janes, both of Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and friends. The family received relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear.
