Passed peacefully away, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, NL, LAVINA TRYPHENA HODDER, Creston North, NL, in her 71st year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 46 years, Raymond, sister in law Glenda Mayo, brothers in law Bruce (Emily), Rick (Roxanne), sisters in law Norma (Stan), and Nancy; nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Lavina is predeceased by her parents James and Frances Mayo, parents in law Evelyn and Ladner Hodder, brother Robert Mayo and sister Marion Penney.

Rev. Robert Tuck conducted the Funeral Service at the Creston North United Church, Creston North, on Friday, Oct. 21st, 2016 at 2:00 pm. As per Lavina’s wishes, cremation followed. Inurnment was at the United Church Cemetery, Creston North.

In Lavina’s memory, donations may be made to Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, NL.

Special thanks to Glenda Mayo, and Ron and Tina Mavin for they did over the years for Lavina.
