Jean Rose Chow passed away on November 6, 2016 at the age of 70 at the Victoria Hospital with her family by her side. Jean was born on August 14, 1946 in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK to Ernestine and Charles Buckley. She met and married Douglas Chow on December 19, 1981 in Prince Albert and to this union two children were born. Jean worked at Venice House and Choices Choices for years always bringing smiles to her clients faces. In her spare time, she was always found baking, crocheting, sewing, and playing a good game of Bingo. Her faith in the Catholic Church was important to her and was permeant until the very end. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband Douglas Chow; her daughter Pame (Bruce) Duquette; son Layne (Renai) Chow; her four grandchildren she adored; Lanie Duquette, Esai Weenonis, Linkin Chow and Braylene Chow; her siblings Glenn Buckley, Eva Gunn, Larry Buckley, Bernice Sumpton, Velma Grunsky and Bert Buckley; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Jean was predeceased by her siblings Bill Buckley, Patrick Buckley, Archie Buckley, Florence Buckley and James Buckley. Pubic Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
