Patricia Christine TAYLOR
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Patricia Christine Taylor, age 80, who passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with her family at her side. Patricia was born in North Sydney, August 25, 1936 to loving parents, the late Richard and Sarah (Gouthro) Logue. In Mom’s younger years she worked in the radiology department at St. Elizabeth Hospital, up until she married her husband the late James Taylor. Together they raised three children Catherine (Donald) Gallant, Darlene (Roy Brown) and David Taylor. Mom was a loving, caring and protective grandmother to her five grandchildren Steven, Joel (Kaitlin), Medeleine, Graeme (Cianna) and Marleigh.
Patricia is also survived by her brothers-in-law, John LeBlanc, Kenneth Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband James and her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her three sisters, Louise (LeRoy) Chapman, Washington, Isabel (Francis) Tobin, North Sydney and Anne LeBlanc, Lunenburg. Her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mary and Robert Taylor; sisters-in-law Elaine (Turk) Gale, Marie Taylor and brothers-in-law, Robert (Lorraine) Taylor, Clifford Taylor,
There will be no visitation by request. A private family funeral will take place at a later date. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sydney Mines. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
