KAULBACK, Bernice May – 91, Great Village, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday morning, November 14, 2016. Born in Great Village, she was a daughter of the late James and Laura (Duncan) Cook. Bernice is survived by her sons, Jack (Tina), Carl (Stella), Bass River; Fred, Gananoque, Ontario; daughters, Linda (Donald) Morrison, Valley; Inez, Calgary; Barbara (Arthur) Muise, Valerie (Robin) MacNeil, Truro; Debbie Cock, Great Village; Joyce (Vernon) Rushton, Lornevale; Geraldine, Masstown; sister, Eva France, Wentworth; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Kaulback; sons, Earl, Eric in infancy; brothers, Arthur and George Cook. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Bernice’s family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016, and funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016, Reverend Dan Gunn officiating. Reception will follow. Interment in Mahon Cemetery, 8480 Highway 2, Great Village. If so desired, donations in Bernice’s memory to IWK Health Centre Foundation are welcomed.
