Curtis Sarty

Curtis (Kurt) Lee Sarty, 55 of Westville passed away suddenly on Friday November 11th 2016 at his Stellarton apartment.
Curtis was born October 28th 1961 at the Aberdeen hospital in New Glasgow. He was raised in Westville where he spent most of his years.
From the time he was a teenager Curtis was a hard worker. Working many different jobs, including construction, carpentry and automotive all leading up to his many years of grounds work with Eastern Mainland Housing Authority. One his favorite hobbies was sketching, be it funny characters, monsters or beautiful scenery.
Curtis loved music of all kinds, especially classic rock. He was always the #1 fan and supporter of his son Scott’s band StoneHouse, if they were playing a show you could always find him front centre stage.
Curtis’ heart and soul were his four grandbabies, who he spent countless hours playing with, laughing together, going to the arcade & flea market, drawing and coloring with. Brooklyn, Abbie, Avery & Riley were truly Curtis’ best friends. If he wasn’t drawing, rocking out or with his children & grandbabies you could always find him at Tim Hortons, Stellarton enjoying time with his many friends or at Stellarton Legion getting his groove on.
