It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Marion Cadotte on Thursday, November 10th, 2016. Judy was born on April 1st, 1935 in East Leake, Nottingham, England, the only child of the late Oliver and Annie Mills. She grew up in the lush green countryside of rural England. Judy will be sadly missed by her husband, Andre Cadotte; and their five children: Yvette (Henri) Rodier and their children Faith (Troy) Campbell, Raymond (Laura) Rodier, and Mark (Donna) Rodier; Richard Cadotte and his children Hallie Cadotte and Dustin Cadotte; Lauren (Dave) Dowling and their children Michaela (Troy) Turner, Adam (Amanda) Dowling, and Brandon Dowling; Caroline (Dana) Dreger and their children Matt Dreger and Kyle Dreger; and Danny Cadotte and his children Josh Cadotte and Lee Cadotte. She also leaves nine loving great-grandchildren. Judy and Andre were posted to many bases throughout Andre’s military career, living in various cities in Canada, England and France before settling in Moose Jaw in 1968. While raising five children, Judy took on the role of a working mother, being employed at Woolco as a cash office supervisor. When Woolco closed, Judy chose to retire. She and Andre enjoyed travelling and made several trips to the southern US and England. Judy worked hard to create her own piece of England through her beautifully arranged flower gardens. Her roses were her pride and joy. Judy loved reading and was always up-to-date on world events. Judy was also an avid Blue Jay’s fan. A Private Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at a later date. Thank you to those who were a bright spot in Judy’s life, especially Gerald and Andrea and their family. A special thank you to Dr. Geyer, and the caregivers at the hospital and Pioneer Lodge for their kindness and compassion to Judy.
