Elizabeth Mary Withers

Passed peacefully away at her home in Rock Harbour and surrounded by her family on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, ELIZABETH MARY WITHERS, of Rock Harbour, NL, in her 91st year. Leaving to mourn her sons Bill (Emily), Marystown, Randell, Rock Harbour, Chester, Rock Harbour, Jim, Rock Harbour, daughters Myrtle Hodder (Roland), Rock Harbour, Violet Hodder, Rock Harbour, Effie Ramos, (Gani), Paradise; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brothers Charles Hooper, Grand Bank, Albert Hooper, Toronto, sisters Jessie Hodder, Grand Bank, Frances Hodder (Cecil), Rock Harbour, Effie Hillier, St. John’s; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband James, parents John and Jane Hooper, brothers Richard Hooper, David Hooper, and William Thomas Hooper, and son in law Eugene Hodder.

Rev. Gloria Wendover conducted the Funeral Service at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Rock Harbour on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Interment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Rock Harbour, NL.

Donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Rock Harbour.

Pall bearers were Bill Withers, Jim Withers, John Hodder, Alexander Ramos, Randy Hodder, and Bramwell Hodder.
