Ruby Margaret (nee Jackson) MacNeill
With sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother Ruby Margaret (Nee: Jackson) MacNeill On November 24, 2016 at the Doctor John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge. Born in Murray Harbour on March 6, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Francis and Rosella (Nee: Herring) Jackson. Beside her parents and her late husband Lester MacNeill Ruby was predeceased by siblings Kathleen (Reuben) Cohoon, Muriel (Ray) Varner, Helen (Charles) Stewart, Evelyn (Arthur) Davey, Alvin (Geraldine) Jackson and Eric Jackson. Leaving with fond and precious memories are her children Frank (Marilyn), Anne (Bill) Nicolle, Roy (Edna), Lorna (Doug) MacLean, grandchildren Lisa (Danny), Michael (Tanya), Shelly (Dave), Richard (Kenia), Brody (Tiffany), Jenna (John), great grandchildren Kayleb, Gabrielle, Sophia, Juliette, Owen, Ty, Drew, Lucy and Eli, Estelle and Katherine. Arrangements entrusted into the care of Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the family will be accepting visitors on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2 - 5 p.m. A service of thanks and celebration for the gift of Ruby’s life will take place in Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
